I'm Molly!
About Me -
Molly is an engagement journalist, specialising in community-led storytelling that prioritises process over headline to rebuild trust between journalism and the public.
Dedicated to amplifying voices of the global majority, she has received awards from the NUJ and holds a Master’s in Audio Documentary. Molly has collaborated with Bite Your Tongue Productions, Bauer Media, and the University of the West of England.
Her recent work has explored issues such as the greyhound racing industry and South Asian identity.
She has extensive experience working with community groups and charities, using engagement journalism to elevate underrepresented voices. Regular partners include Actiontrack Performance Company and Evolve Music. While working with Evolve Music she conducted extensive research into reaching the East African communities of Bristol through music workshops. This project can be found here. She has also partnered with academics to transform complex research into accessible audio storytelling.
Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Audition, as well as Burli and Myriad, Molly is BJTC accredited including Media Law.
She brings experience producing multi-episode podcasts, alongside creating one-off episodes for commercial clients.
